Time Passes, Life Changes

So much time has Passed and our entire world has changed.  I have one really big regret and it is that I did not keep writing our stories down.  Some of our stories have been so happy!  And some have been very hard and very sad.  The last 4 and a half years have been the most life changing years of my life.  I wish there was a way for me to capture all of it in words, but I know I cant.  I want to write about a few of the major things and then pick up from here and continue to tell our story.
The Last time I wrote was June 2012.  I will share a few photos from the rest of that year.
-I continued Serving in the YW program.  I loved those girls and Im thankful for everything they taught me.
-We always love the 4th of July and kept our traditions going strong.  Cory played softball, the boys and I ran a 5K and of course we had our annual BBQ and went to the Fireworks and Riverton City.
-Annette was Diagnosed with Breast Cancer and Fought it like a champ!
-We went to Lake Powell with Edwards and had a blast.
-Brock turned 11
-Brock and Parker Played football, Cory coached and they all loved it and I loved watching it all!
-We continued our family Christmas traditions.  Temple square, decorating our tree, Tatton family Christmas eve Dinner.  We went to Park City with the Edwards to celebrate the holidays.
-We bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I will all cherish these memories and I am thankful for all of the photos!

Wishin' we were fishin'!
We took a little trip to the cabin with the Edwards.  We hung out by the fire and and fished.  This was Rubi's and Cutler's first trip and she loved it!

May 2012

Play Ball
Brock and Parker were on the same Baseball team and Cory was an assistant coach.  I love when my boys are on the same teams.  The games are so fun to watch that way. Not to mention, half the games, half the practices and same color of Uniforms for laundry.  Its a plus all the way around.  I especially loved when they would play pitcher and catcher.  That was my favorite.

Cory is the meanest coach ever.  Can't you just see the fear in his eyes?

Busy April!

April is always a pretty busy month for our family.  So, here we go.
A Trip Home
The first week of April was Easter weekend.  We went to Price to spend time with the Tatton Family.  I decided to take the kids. (and Josi and  Rhylee) a day early.  I heard that the Wave Pool does an Easter Egg hunt in the water and the Easter bunny comes.  So, we decided to check it out.  I would never pass up a valid reason to go to the Wave Pool.  That night, Cory met us down there. We stayed with Uncle Mike.  We went to the Mining Museum and to the swinging bridge and went for  a walk on the Helper Parkway.  I sure do love that little town.  There is no sound in  the whole world that I love more than the church bells that ring on Helper Main street and the sound of a train running right through town.  We spent the afternoon at the Helper park with my family and took a little walk to the Cemetery to see my grandparents.

This is kind of scary looking Easter Bunny if you ask me!

It was fun to see things in the museum that were donated by my Grandma.

And Then Comes Jake
We got a new baby cousin in April.  Welcome to our family "Jake Fisher Wylie".  We already love you!
Jake was born on his big brother Ike's Birthday.  How fun for them that they get to share a birthday.  We were the lucky ones because we got to keep Ike while Jake was being born.   We had a him a little birthday party and had lots of fun.

Vegas Baby!
My Girlfriends and I took a much need mommy vacation to Vegas.  We spent much of our time at the pool.  We saw an amazing show, had really great food and laughed a lot!  I am so thankful to have such a fun group of friends for trips like this.

Moab 2012
I love Moab.  and I love Cory in Moab!  This is truly his favorite place.  He is so fun when we are there.  This year was a really great time.  We had lots of friends and family come with us.  Some that had never been before and others that have always been there with us.  This is one trip where we say "the more the merrier".   This was mine and Cory's 14th year in a row.

Color me Rad
Bree and I had so much fun doing the color run in Vegas, we decided to do it again.  This time at UVU.  It was just a  5K but really fun to get so dirty.

Well, that pretty much sums up April 2012.  There will more to come!
